two parallel worlds?

I started teaching at a language school close to my parents house where I am living until I start earning enough to pay rent. Class starts either at 7 or 8 a.m. So, every morning I wake up and leave home 30 minutes before class; I walk there. It reminded me of my Athens mornings: waking up early, biking in the cold weather, and seeing the same people every morning. Except I don't bike, I walk (20 to 25 minutes), and winter here is not freezing as it is in Athens. However, similarity is I am cold and wear my hat, and I see the same people almost every morning. Now the funny coincidence: I used to see Chris ride his beautiful motorcycle (of course, when it was not so cold...) and yesterday I saw, for the second time, a man riding the same type bike. I thought maybe there are parallel worlds! maybe things are the same everywhere. I actually hope that's just my crazy thoughts while I have nothing to think about. Imagine if everywhere in this world there was one of each person. No. Some people I know are too unique to have a duplicate!

By the way, that's a half job I got. So far I'll be working for around 3 hours a day (teaching adults and 8 year old kids). oh well, this is just the beginning...

parallel worlds and similarities?
This morning, on the news, we saw a shoe designer sunbathing in a square downtown (Praça Raul Soares). Ha! when summer began in Athens I was impressed: girls in bikinis would lay down anywhere to acquire that so desired tan! Well, in Belo Horizonte one lady does that. The cops were called. They told her she could not do it; it is not allowed to step on grass. Pissed off, she replies asking them why the ladies can let their dogs poop whereas she can't enjoy the sun. What could they say? She moved from the grass to the sidewalk and suggested they should worry more about arresting criminals than bothering with those who want to enjoy what their money, spent on city taxes, payed for.
